DISCONNECTORS
Introduction
The Noventa di Piave site is the Competence Centre for high voltage disconnectors. The site is also home to the R&D, Sales and Purchasing teams and its main competencies include the design, production, testing and installation of high voltage disconnectors and power connectors worldwide up to 1200kV AC and 800kV DC.
Production
Our disconnector production lines are staffed by qualified personnel with proven experience in disconnector assembly. Detailed operational instructions for each production step are on display at every workstation and complete traceability is ensured by means of monitoring sheets, labels and markers.
Testing
Vernova disconnectors are type tested in world class laboratories such as KEMA, CESI and CERDA in full compliance with international standards such as ANSI/IEEE and IEC. Russian GOST and Chinese DL standards as well as specific qualification processes are also applied in order to meet customer requirements.
Quality
Our R&D, production and commercial units are fully certified according to ISO 9001:2008. This means that during the entire production process, all employees, equipment and company operations are targeted at satisfying the highest quality standards. Our ISO 14001:2004 qualification certifies our commitment to sustainable manufacturing and to the limitation of the environmental impact, whilst our OHSAS 18001:2007 qualification certifies our occupational health and safety procedures.
Product design
Disconnectors are built in a variety of types. Based on the substation configuration, different designs are available according to overhead and interphase clearances as well as layout and space saving requirements.
